Keir is the first wine made by Tua Rita using vinification and aging in amphora. This ancient method, which was lost in the history of wine culture, enhances the grape’s varietal characteristics to its fullest. It is a wine with a limited production.

With its name, this wine pays tribute to one of the most beautiful buildings in Suvereto, the church of San Giusto and to the first vineyard that was planted in Notri, where our winery is located. It is a wine made mainly with Cabernet grapes, that was produced for the first time in 1992. The complex floral notes and those of small black fruits, make the Giusto di Notri an energetic wine of great impact. This wine, which is the soul of Tua Rita, walks side by side with the winery since the beginning and, in its essence, it gives testimony to the winery’s philosophy

It is the perfect match between a great and exuberant Petit Verdot and a more mature Merlot. The long aging in barrels gives the wine softness and elegance. Notable for its decidedly modern style.

It’s 100% Sangiovese. When the winery was bought, it was the main grape variety cultivated. In 2003, we planted a vineyard with a clone selected to better adapt to the dry climate and the warm summer temperatures along the coast in Tuscany. Elegant and full-bodied, with a long finish and a nose that reflects notes of fruit and harmonious spices.

Perlato del Bosco bianco is a mono-varietal Vermentino, rich of salty notes, expression of the territory and the winery’s closeness to the sea. It is a wine with a great personality, very soft and smooth due to the low acidity. It pairs very well with the typical seafood of the Tuscan coast.

This blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, obtained from the younger vineyards and from the preselected bunches during harvest, is the wine that introduces to the articulated and fascinating world of Tua Rita’s red wines. Rosso dei Notri is a wine with good acidity and an amazing structure, that expresses the character and the personality of the terroir in the Colline Metallifere area. It is a fresh and young wine, ready to drink, and perfect to be served by the glass.

This passito wine is produced on the island of Pantelleria, where, in 2016, we acquired some vineyards. It is an emotion; it is an expression of the fragrances from this fantastic territory where sun, winds, and sea are the undisputed rulers. It is a wine with a very good acidity and low sugar content. It pairs surprisingly well with cheese, as well as with desserts, of course.

Keir Ansonica, a wine that comes from a traditional Tuscan varietal. It is an etiquette that is enriched over the
four years of vinification in amphora that started in 2016 with a red berry Keir. It will certainly surprise you
agreeably especially because it is a wine that has been neither clarified nor filtered and is a limited series of about
two thousand bottles. Keir Ansonica is a new way for Tua Rita to ‘think and do’. Somehow, but still faithful to
tradition, Tua Rita wanted to put itself to the test creating something novel.

It is a white wine desired by Rita. It is she who believed that it would be possible to obtain a white wine with a special charm in this climate and soil, with a blend that is very atypical for the area: Traminer, Riesling, and Chardonnay. This very aromatic wine with its notes of flowers and white fruit is no doubt, also due to the limited production, a cult label for those who love white wines. It matures 6 months in barriques.

A very enjoyable fresh wine with floral notes and a natural acidity. It is a wine that gives an expression of sea and sunshine.

A wine ready to drink now but it can also age in the bottle for 2-3 years.

Cooking class: is an amazing experience to discover the secrets of our territory. The experience begins with a quick tour among the vines and our cellars through the hall of amphorae and in the historic barrique room and proceed in our kitchen to discover Tuscan food and wine tradition. Our chef will guide you through the process of creating a delicious meal, and you will learn tips on how to select and prepare fresh local ingredients. The experience ends with lunch pairing with Tua Rita Wines.

Your visit begins with a guided walk among the vines, covering our rich winegrowing history. After that, you will head to the new cellar for a behind the scenes view into our winemaking operations, and you will have the opportunity to taste 1 or 2 wines tapped from the steel fermentation tank. The tour will continue in the historic cellar, through the hall of amphorae and finally in the barrique room. The experience ends with a curated tasting of wines sourced from the very vineyard you walked through and a platter of local product.

A wonderful experience to understand the process of aging of our wines in French oak barrels. Your visit begins with a guided walk among the vines, covering our rich winegrowing history. After that, you will head to the new cellar for a behind the scenes view into our winemaking operations, your tour will continue in the historic cellar, through the hall of amphorae and finally in the historic barrique room. Here you will have the opportunity to taste 2 our iconic wines tapped from the barrique barrel. Post-tour, you’ll stop at tasting room to enjoy a curated selection of 3 wines, perfectly complemented with handpicked local cheeses and charcuterie.

After a quick introduction about Tua Rita history and philosophy, you will head among the vines and in our cellars through the hall of amphorae and in the historic barrique room. The real experience begins onboard a Jeep that takes you on an easy-going ride around and through the estate vineyards. Along the way, you’ll learn about Tua Rita’s viticulture practices and you finish the trip in our pic-nic area where you’ll enjoy food and wine while admiring the beautiful vines. Our team provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxed picnic and 2 wine bottles which you can take with you.
